International Shipping Rates: Shopping cart will calculate based on your location and items in your cart during the checkout process. We do not ship to all countries. If the shopping cart does not provide an international shipping quote to your address, this means we are not able to ship to your location.
Postage of fabric samples internationally start at $4.00. International shipping quoted by our shopping cart does not include import duties, taxes, administrative brokerage/custom clearance fees that may be levied by your country and by the delivery company (post office, UPS, DHL, etc.). Buyer is responsible for any additional amounts charged by government agencies and delivery carriers for international shipments. Buyer is responsible for 2-way round trip shipping incurred if delivery is refused and/or unpaid duties/fees/taxes cause the package to be returned to sender.
International Shipments via US-based Freight Forwarders: If you specify a freight forwarder to receive your package, an additional $5.55 fee for signature required delivery will be billed to you. This is a security measure to verify receipt by your freight forwarder, who is responsible for sending the package to you overseas. At the time of delivery, UPS will require someone at the freight forwarding company to sign for the package. **This is a mandatory fee applying to orders shipping to freight forwarders from 5/14/22 onwards.**
Domestic Shipments: Depending on your distance from Atlanta, Georgia, please allow 3 to 7 postal working days for delivery to your address from the date you receive your shipment notification. Most domestic orders are sent via the US Postal Service or UPS Ground.
International Shipments: Transit times vary depending on shipping method:
- USPS 1sts class package international (for orders under $100): up to 4 to 7 weeks. Transit time to Canada, Australia and the UK tend to be in the 2 to 3 week range. **Transit times can be 2x this estimate during peak holiday periods.**
- UPS or DHL Express (*may require surcharge for remote areas*): 3 days to 1 week
Most packages under $100 are sent by the United States Postal Service with delivery confirmation tracking numbers for USA destinations. Fabric swatches are sent USPS 1st class letter (no tracking).
If your address cannot accept deliveries by the post office, and you require a courier service such as UPS and Fedex, please specify this at the time of purchase. Additional shipping costs (if any) for UPS/Fedex will be separately invoiced to you. Signature may be required for delivery of orders where the billing and shipping address do not match, for high-value orders and/or for orders containing non-replaceable/limited edition items.
All orders (with the exception of fabric samples) are shipped with tracking numbers to verify date and time of delivery. If your order is stolen from your premises after it had been scanned as delivered, Aloriam is not responsible for the theft and no refunds or replacements can be issued. It is buyer’s responsibility to provide a secure shipping address with a safe location for package deliveries. Our system automatically emails you a notification when your package is out for delivery, as well as when your order has been confirmed delivered, so that you can retrieve your package as quickly as possible. If you anticipate being away from your address (e.g. on vacation) during the expected delivery window, please alert us at the time of order so that your order can be held back from shipment until your return, and/or routed to an alternate address. Missing packages must be reported to us (email@example.com) within 72 hours of the carrier's delivery scan. Aloriam is not responsible for losses if your claim of non-delivery is not reported promptly, or if the package was stolen after it was delivered.
International orders are welcome, however, we do not ship to some countries. Our shopping cart will display a shipping quote during checkout if we are able to ship to your address.
International shipments under $100 are usually sent by the US Postal Service (airmail) with tracking #, unless you otherwise request another shipping method. International orders above $100 are sent UPS or DHL.
International buyers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, VAT and other administrative processing fees that may be charged by your country or by the carrier (post office, UPS, DHL, etc) at customs. These charges may be imposed by the destination country and/or the carrier and are not within Aloriam's control. Please be aware that you may or may not have to pay additional amounts to your government or carrier to receive your package. If you do not pick up your package, refuse delivery or fail to pay the import fees, your order will eventually be returned to us. At that point, we will give you the option to reship the package (additional postage to be invoiced) or receive a refund less a restocking fee and postage.
Pillow covers made from in-stock fabrics typically ship in 1 to 2 weeks. Pillow covers made from special order fabrics usually ship between 1.5 to 3 weeks. Periods of heavy order volume may lengthen these turnaround times slightly. Please check your order confirmation for the most up-to-date turnaround estimate on your order.
Please let us know your deadline and we will do our best to make it happen. Keep in mind that our pillow covers are custom made-to-order for you. Some fabrics require special order from supplier. If there isn't enough fabric on hand to sew your order right away, rush production will not be possible.
We reserve the right to bill a 15% rush fee on orders requiring weekend work or a 24-hour turnaround time. For example, if you place an order on Friday and require it shipped by Monday, or if you place an order on Wednesday and require it shipped Thursday. The rush fee is non-refundable.
To avoid disappointment, please first check with us as to the feasibility of a rush order before making your purchase.
Express next day shipping methods are not covered by our standard shipping rates and will be billed separately.
