Last two! The Beacon Hill Plush mohair velvet pillow cover is a premier example of fine European velvet making. Woven in the Netherlands in an autumnal gold hue, this mohair velvet features a 100% Mohair pile woven on a cotton backing (overall composition 54% Cotton 46% Mohair). Mohair velvet is made from the soft and durable fiber of angora goats, and long treasured as a luxury-class of velvets in the $150 to $300+/yard price range. Mohair velvets have a deep pile that you can sink into, and are particularly wonderful as a snuggling partner in fall and winter seasons. They are warm, hard wearing and display a natural sheen with great color depth and complexity. This particular mohair velvet fabric boasts an impressive abrasion rating of 80,000 double rubs.
